Until I Hear You |
I love You I love You, for who You are CHORUS
Scripture that inspired this song: |
He also encountered God’s discipline, mercy, grace, and forgiveness. Through it all, He praised and worshiped our God. He wrote song after song praising God for His Everlasting Love. Although God provided for David in very unique and specific ways, it was God that captured David’s heart. Ultimately the Psalms record how David loved God for who He is, not just for what He had done for him. I began to realize that just as God loves us unconditionally, we need to love Him, not for what He does for us, or gives to us. We need to love God for Who He Is. After all, we hope that others love us with that kind of love. He is God: there is no one greater. He is Creator and King of the Universe. He is unchanging, and ever persistent in His love for us. He sent His ONLY Son to die for us and He raised from the dead. Jesus promised that He would return for us. That’s why we love Him. He loves us for who we are, not for what we do. Many have responded to the beckoning call of God’s love towards us. Won’t you respond to Him today? Lyrics and music by Elva Frye. ©2007 Brian and Elva Frye Publishing |
